Can you briefly explain your role and responsibilities at mJourney?

In my role within Candid, I am responsible for initiating and implementing commercial and strategic initiatives. A key focus is on optimising media trading and investment activities. I also concentrate on commercial and operational growth across different pillars and agencies, as well as international expansion within the group.

Additionally, RLVNT, the media marketplace business, and mJourney, the location-based advertising agency, are key areas of focus for me. I work closely with various teams to align individual and overall business goals, ensure execution and integration across platforms, and drive long-term growth and success. By bringing together the diverse capabilities within the Candid platform, our clients directly benefit from these synergies, contributing to their success and the value we create for them.

What makes your job enjoyable or interesting?

What I find most enjoyable and interesting about my job is the variety and dynamism. I work on strategic initiatives that are both commercially and data-driven, and I have the opportunity to collaborate with talented teams focused on success and growth.

Combining media, technology, and commerce in my daily work ensures I am constantly challenged. Moreover, I love working in a fast-growing, internationally oriented environment, where every day brings new opportunities and challenges.

What makes mJourney unique in your opinion (in the market)?

mJourney provides a unique omnichannel solution for location-based advertising, combining multiple media channels for maximum impact. The synergy of elements such as footfall measurement, data-driven insights, and real-time dashboarding delivers a powerful and effective approach.

Advertisers can track and analyse consumer movements, gaining valuable insights directly applicable to campaigns. mJourney offers a full-service package, from strategy to optimisation, relieving businesses of the burden of their media strategy. The uniqueness lies in the combination of these elements, which together deliver a seamless and effective solution.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Do you have hobbies or passions?

Outside of work, I’m always actively engaged. I love backcountry snowboarding, running, gym workouts, and Spartan races—anything that supports an active lifestyle.

Travelling is also a big passion of mine; I’ve visited 81 countries, including unique and exotic destinations like North Korea, Uzbekistan, and Namibia. Exploring new cultures and adventures adds a special dimension to my life.

Do you have a motto or life philosophy? Can you elaborate?

My motto is simple: “Get shit done.”

It’s a no-nonsense approach that keeps me focused and ensures I accomplish what I set out to do.

For years, the flyer has been one of the most powerful retail tools to inspire and activate consumers. With mJourney’s Digital Flyer Activation, we extend that strength into the mobile domain. Through hyperlocal mobile display campaigns, we bring weekly flyer offers to consumers at exactly the right time and place—close to the store. By combining flyer content with smart location data, technology, and real-time optimization, we ensure consumers see relevant offers when purchase intent is at its peak. The result: greater reach, higher relevance, and measurable increases in store visits.
