Can you briefly tell us about your role and responsibilities at mJourney?
I’m the Head of Operations at mJourney. Everything related to the current and potential technologies we use—troubleshooting, improvements, innovations—all of this, and more, falls within my circle of responsibilities.
What makes your job enjoyable or interesting?
I’m an explorer by nature, and mJourney’s work resonates deeply with that. It’s an absolute pleasure to expand approaches, strategies, and our tech stack for clients’ campaigns. Every new or improved solution we achieve is a small victory that brings joy to my workflow.
What, in your opinion, makes mJourney unique in the market?
mJourney is both complex and simple at the same time. Our products may seem similar to what others offer, yet our rigorous approach, out-of-the-box thinking, and ability to guide, explain, support, and innovate always leave our clients happy. We are passionate about what we do, and our extensive location-based capabilities, such as Footfall-DOOH synchronisation, set us apart. We’re ready to walk every journey with our clients, making it as smooth and exciting as possible.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Do you have any hobbies or passions?
I consider myself somewhat geeky, so I enjoy anime, classic and modern fantasy and sci-fi films, and a myriad of gaming genres. Recently, I’ve also renewed my gym routine, which has been refreshing. 😋
What is the last book, podcast, or series you’ve read, listened to, or watched?
The latest series to pique my interest was Arcane on Netflix, based on the League of Legends universe. Everything about it is phenomenal—incredible animation and visual effects, a fascinating story, and a fantastic soundtrack! The only bitter note is that the series is only two seasons long. It’s a shame that the rich world we’ve seen won’t be expanded with new episodes.
Do you have a motto or life philosophy? Could you elaborate?
I don’t have a unique motto yet, so I’ll refer to a quote from The Green Book that has stuck with me throughout my life: “Whatever you do, do it 100%. If you work, work at full force. If you sleep, sleep well. If you eat, do it as if it’s your last meal.” My family has endured a great deal, including the occupation of our hometown by Russia for over 10 years, forcing us to abandon our home and move to safety. The constant threats from bombardments and the devastation of war have “helped” my wife and me realise how important it is to enjoy every moment of our lives.
