Can you briefly describe your role and responsibilities at mJourney? 

In my role as Customer Success Manager, I’m responsible for the collaboration between Stroom and mJourney. I make sure everything runs smoothly and that Stroom is fully supported with our expertise in location-based advertising. My goal is to provide Stroom with the right insights and advice, so their campaigns are as effective as possible. I do this by regularly sharing knowledge, evaluating campaigns, and acting as their main point of contact.

 What makes your job enjoyable or interesting? 

What I enjoy most is the frequent internal contact I have with colleagues. With my experience and personality, I try to inspire others about the world of Location Based Advertising. I love seeing how I can get colleagues excited about the latest developments and work together on creative solutions. It gives me a lot of energy when I notice my enthusiasm is contagious and we keep getting better as a team.

What makes mJourney unique in the market? 

mJourney is unique because we fully specialize in Location Based Advertising and take a true omnichannel approach. We don’t just look at online campaigns – we ensure all channels, from mobile to outdoor and even online audio, are seamlessly integrated. What really sets us apart is that we focus not only on online results, but also on footfall: we measure and optimize how many people actually visit a physical location as a result of our campaigns.
This allows us to advise clients like Stroom in a highly targeted way and clearly demonstrate the impact, both online and offline.

 What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Do you have any hobbies or passions? 

Outside of work, I love being active and enjoy going out for dinner or drinks. Together with my girlfriend, I try to take at least one great trip abroad every year – we both love discovering new places and cultures. We also enjoy relaxing at home with a good series or movie. That combination of being active and unwinding together is really important to me in my free time.

What is the last book, podcast, or series you read, listened to, or watched? 

On my commute, I prefer listening to podcasts over music. The last podcast I listened to was by Joe Rogan, featuring Joe Pistone as a guest. He spent years undercover in the mafia under the alias Donnie Brasco. His story was later made into a film starring Johnny Depp and Al Pacino. It was fascinating to hear the real Donnie Brasco talk about his experiences.
The last book I read was ‘I Am Pilgrim’ by Terry Hayes. It’s a gripping thriller about a former secret agent who has to solve a complex international case. The book is full of unexpected twists and kept me hooked from start to finish.

Do you have a life motto? Can you explain it? 

My motto is: “You only live once, so try to say ‘yes’ as often as possible. That’s how you gain the most experiences.” I also think it’s important not to take life too seriously. This helps me stay open to new things, be spontaneous, and enjoy whatever comes my way.
At the same time, I believe it’s important to take responsibility and be professional in my work. I’m convinced that a positive and open attitude gets you far, but it’s also essential to keep your promises and deliver quality. For me, it’s all about balance: enjoying life and seizing opportunities, but also being serious when needed and always getting the best out of myself and my work.
