Dennis Lensen new Head of Media Investment

As of May 1, Candid has appointed Dennis Lensen as Head of Media Investment. In this role, he succeeds Michel Frank (64), who has decided to leave the company after a valuable period at Candid.

Candid launches mJourney – On the spot advertising

Candid announced the launch of mJourney, a location-based advertising specialist. Mobile Journey, a previously acquired company, will be incorporated into this new entity, with Cynthia Openneer appointed as the Commercial Director. mJourney represents a broad vision for location-based advertising and an expansion of Candid’s media portfolio, shifting the focus from solely “Mobile” to a fully location-based “Omnichannel” approach.

At the Optimaal Digitaal event on October 11, Auke Boersma presented to over 100 city marketers, shopping district and city center managers how a smart use of location-based advertising helped promote the city of Utrecht and attract 124,000 physical visitors. This innovative approach, targeting the right audience at the right time, once again proved how important it is to advertise relevantly and specifically in today’s digital world.
